"VIDEO IN"
Used with
a
video camera' for recording home
movies. Connecting
a
plug into this jack cuts off
the picture from the tuner and records the video
input connected into this jack. Disconnecting the
plug automatically resumes the picture from the
"AUDIO IN" (R and L)
Used with a video camera (with microphone) for
home movies or for recording audio coming from
other audio equipment. The level at these jacks is
0.25 Vrms.
"AUDIO OUT" (R and L)
The audio that is supplied to the television monitor
is also available
a t these jacks. It can be connected
t o an external audio amplifier. The level at these
jacks is
0.25
Vrms.
"TELEVISION OUT"
Connect this terminal to your television ANTEN-
NA terminals, using the accessories provided.
AMERA REMOTE" Jack
You can s t a r t and stop recording by a trigger
switch on the camera when you connect the trigger
output of the camera to this jack.

This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer's attention to Article
820-22
of the NEC
that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall
be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical".
