7. Press the Auto button.
The reset-to-zero indicator (clock icon) is shown
on the display, along with either On or OFF, as
shown below. On means that the unit will
automatically reset to zero after two minutes of
inactivity. OFF means that the unit will remain at
the current total indefinitely, or until the Reset
button is pushed.

8. Toggle between On and OFF by pressing the
Reset button, then press the Auto button.
The unit returns to the Normal dispensing mode.
Locking and Unlocking the Trigger
The trigger (15) on this electronic metered dispense
valve has a locking mechanism. The trigger does
not automatically unlock; you must unlock it
manually.
To lock the trigger, press on the part of the trigger
that has the textured grip (see below) until you feel it
click into the locked position.

Fluid continues to flow until you unlock the trigger.
To unlock the trigger, press on the smooth part of
the trigger (see above) until you feel it click out of the
locked position. Then release the trigger.
Fluid flow stops.
Operation
Dispensing Fluid
These are the procedures for dispensing fluid in
Standard mode and Preset mode.
Standard Mode
1. Press the Reset button.
2. Squeeze the trigger.

NOTE: Also while you press the Reset button, the
Segment Check is shown on the display very
briefly, which allows you to check for burned out
segments in the display. Press the Reset button
repeatedly to get a good look at each segment in
the display. The Segment Check should show all
of the segments shown below.

AUTO CAL
Before you squeeze the trigger, make sure you
have read Locking and Unlocking the Trigger
at left.
Fluid begins to flow, and the amount shown on the
display counts up from zero.
