Installing RTN 360s at 2x(1+0) Aggregation Sites
Installation procedure
1 Install the ground cable.
2 Install an RTN 360 on a pole or wall.
Connect an outdoor network cable to port P&E on each

RTN 360 and lay out the cable.
Power over ethernet supports a maximum distance of 100 meters.
Use an outdoor network cable to connect GE ports on the two RTN

360s.
Commissioning procedure
Connect the other end of the outdoor network cable to Port

P&E1/P&E2 on the PI to power on the RTN 360.
•The PI transmits both service and power signals to one
RTN 360 and only power signals to the other RTN 360.
•A GE port on the PI connects to the peer wireless
device.
•For details about how to install a PI and cables, see
the OptiX RTN PI-AC B20 Product Overview and
Installation Guide.
Load commissioning data to the RTN 360s using

the Web LCT.
7 Align each RTN 360 with its peer.
Ensure that the RSLs of the two RTN 360s meet

the requirements.
9 Verify the installation.
