Aligning an RTN 360
Install the alignment scope.
Adjust the azimuth and elevation angles of the local RTN 360
slowly to move the crosshair of the alignment scope to the center
of the peer RTN 360.

Tighten the adjustment locking screws (1 and 2). Slightly move the local RTN
360 in the horizontal and vertical directions to check whether it is securely
installed.
Then, check whether the crosshair of the alignment scope is still aiming at the
center of the peer RTN 360. If the crosshair is not aiming at the center of the
peer RTN 360, slowly rotate the wing nuts (3 and 4) to adjust the azimuth and
elevation angles.

Align the peer RTN 360 with the local RTN 360 in the
same way.
Remove the alignment scope gently to ensure that the
aligned antennas are not affected.

(wing nut 1), you can
adjust the azimuth
angle of the RTN 360
from -50° to +50°.
• When mounting an RTN 360 to a wall, use a 33/85 hex
key with a standard length defined by ISO 2936 to
2
tighten adjustment locking screw 2. When mounting an
RTN 360 to a pole, determine whether to use a hex key
according to the actual situation.
• If you cannot tighten adjustment locking screw 2 using
the preceding hex key, contact the local Huawei office to
purchase an extension bracket.
Adjust the azimuth and elevation angles of the RTN 360 by rotating the azimuth
and elevation adjustment wing nuts.

By rotating the elevation adjustment wing nut
(wing nut 2), you can adjust the elevation
angle of the RTN 360 from -50° to +50°.
To adjust the azimuth and elevation angles of an RTN 360,
rotate the azimuth and elevation adjustment wing nuts. Do not
attempt to turn the device or mounting kits.
If the azimuth adjustment is insufficient to align the RTN 360
with its peer, loosen the hose clamp, re-position the RTN 360,
and then re-fasten the hose clamp.
