Installing an RTN 360 at the Edge of a Mobile Backhaul Network
Installation procedure
1 Install the ground cable.
2 Install an RTN 360 on a pole or wall.
Connect one end of an outdoor network cable to port

P&E on the RTN 360 and lay out the cable.
Power over ethernet supports a maximum distance of 100
meters.
Commissioning procedure
4 Connect the other end of the outdoor network cable to the
P&E port on the PI to power on the RTN 360.
A GE port on the PI connects to the peer
wireless device. For details about how to install
a PI and cables, see the OptiX RTN PI-AC B20
Product Overview and Installation Guide.
Load commissioning data to the RTN 360 using the

Web LCT.
Align the RTN 360 with its peer.

Ensure that the received signal level (RSL) of

the RTN 360 is consistent with the network
plan.
8 Verify the installation.
