A. Connecting the mixer of microphones to NEO
Connect the mixer output in one audio input of NEO using the balance audio (positive,
negative and ground) and using two resistances of 10K ohm in positive and negative
output from mixer (refer to balance connection manual).
We will use the input 1 as per the connection diagram (refer to SLD diagram).
NOTE: Remember that you have a MPS-8Z connected in the MIC/REMOTE socket, so the
input 5 will be disabled.
B. Checking the connection
Once you have connected the signal, check the level of the sources (microphones) routing
the input selected to all output (refer to "NEO User's Manual") and test the green led of
zone (refer to INDICATORS in "NEO User's Manual").
C. Link and connect the NEO device
Follows the steps described in the "NEO Configurator User's Manual PART 1" document to
connect the NEO-8060 and import the configuration in a new project (refer to 3. PROJECT
SETUP at page 15).
Once you have connected the system with NEO Config, we are going to set the event as
per the requirements: whenever any microphone talks, the system will route this input
to a particular zone and when the microphone is off, the zone will get back to previous
routed music in that zone.
