To unlock the lifting mechanism, turn the lift-lock
release knob towards RELEASE until it will not go
further.

Be sure to always turn the lift-lock release knob
towards LOCK to lock the lifting mechanism. Check
to ensure that the knob is aligned in the same way as
shown in the figure.
This unit can be locked in 11 positions starting from the
standard position to the lowest position.

Adjusting the Position
turn the tilt-lock and tilt friction adjustment knob towards
the camera lens to lock the viewfinder. Also, check to be
sure that the lift-lock release knob is locked in the LOCK
position.
