The function of the machine means that it is not possible to protect all sources of danger completely. The machine is provided with danger signs which indicate these residual dangers.

  • Page 26 Using solenoid comfort operation The forage wagon is equipped with solenoid valves. Set the hydraulic control unit of the tractor to “pressure” (oil in circulation) and secure the control lever in this position. The required hydraulic function is carried out by operating the corresponding electrical switch.
  • Page 27 Attention: Check the blade safety setting from time to time and reset if necessary. Check all blades daily. Only sharpen the smooth side of the blades. Best carried out with a KRONE sharpening device.

    Automatic floor conveyor tensioning The floor conveyor of the “TITAN” short-cut forage wagon is tensioned automatically. The correct function of the tensioning device must be checked. If the floor conveyor chain has become so elongated in prolonged operation that automatic tensioning is no longer possible, 2 or 4 links must be removed.
