Mount the hose reels in fixture 4. (Fig. A)
The hose reel must be mounted securely to the wall or
ceiling with 2 Ø 8 x 40 mm (or longer) screws. (Fig. A)
The stop-ball 2 is allowed to be moved inwards. The
spring force requires no adjustment. (Fig. B)
Connect hose connection 5 to the compressed-air sup-
ply with the specified pressure. (Fig. C)

 The safety warnings in the Section "For
Your Safety" are to be strictly observed.
Malfunction
The hose does not reel up com-
pletely.
The hose cannot be locked in the
desired position.

Unreeling
Pull out the hose to the desired length and allow it to
reel up a little in order to lock. If the reel does not
engage, pull hose out again somewhat, and allow it to
lock again. When the hose is completely unreeled, do
not continue to pull. Caution! Danger of hose rip-
ping off.
Reeling up
To loosen the lock after use (1), pull hose out some-
what until the clicking noise of the locking mechanism
is no longer heard.
Release the hose (2). The hose is slowly pulled back
into the housing.
Braked pulling-in: The new safety rewinder for
hoses has a robust brake for the hose reel and a high
spring force. This ensures slow and even pulling-in,
resulting in a safe working environment.

Troubleshooting

Hose reel cannot swivel freely in wall

Reel-up spring possibly broken.
Latching lever possibly broken.

Corrective Action
Wipe the hose off with a clean cloth
and some water or other solvent-free
liquid.
Pull hose out and let it reel up to the
stop-ball.
Check the wall/ceiling installation
and make sure there is sufficient
space for the hose to move.
