cutting all materials. If excessive blade
slippage occurs, tighten the blade stud
a fraction of a turn more (less than 1/8
turn). OVERTIGHTENING THE BLADE
STUD NULLIFIES THE EFFECTIVENESS
OF THE CLUTCH.

(Sold separately)
1.
Remove screw 1 that secures the
lower guard lift lever with a T20 or
7/ 6 4" allen wrench, and remove lower
guard lift lever 2 (Fig. 3).

Install the new lower guard lift lever
3 that is provided with your dust port
adapter 5, and securely tighten screw
1. The new lever 3 provided was
designed to allow proper clearance
of the lower guard lift lever when the
dust port adapter is attached (Fig. 3).

Slide clip 4 on end of dust port
adapter 5 behind wall of the dust
port opening in the upper guard 6
and swing clockwise viewed from
above until the adapter snaps
securely into place and secure with
screw 8 provided (Fig. 4 and Fig. 5).
To remove, remove screw 8, lift tab 7
at opposite end of adapter and swing
counter-clockwise and remove.
▼ DUST ExTRACTION

The dust port will accept the typical
rubber-like nozzles from 35 mm vacuum
cleaner hoses, such as the VX120 that is
included with the Bosch VF-Series
hoses.
To connect the saw to a 1-1/4" or 1-1/2"
hose, the Bosch VAC024 adapter (sold
separately) can be used.
Connect the other end of the hose to a
suitable dust extractor.
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable
for the material being worked.
