Bottom of Lid Anti-Block Shield Prevents food particles from coming up through the steam release pipe, which assists with pressure regulation. Must be installed before use. Locking Pin Locks the lid in the closed position when the cooker is pressurised to prevent accidental opening of the lid.

Cooker Base Condensation Rim Collects excess condensation and Condensation Collector directs it to the condensation collector. Only one sealing ring should be installed when using your cooker. Replace your sealing ring every 12-18 months or when deformation or damage is noticed. Always check for cuts or deformations in sealing ring prior to cooking. Only use authorised Instant Pot sealing rings. CAUTION Failure to follow these instructions may cause food to discharge, which may lead to personal or property damage.

The Float Valve When the float valve is popped up, this indicates that the cooker is pressurised. When it is lowered into the lid, this indicates that the cooker is depressurised. Do not discard float valve or silicone cap. Refer to Venting Methods in this booklet for information on releasing pressure. Venting Methods Once cooking is complete, there are 2 methods to release pressure: Natural Release (NR) • Leave the quick release switch in the Seal position. QuickCool™ The Duo Evo Plus lid is equipped with QuickCool™ technology which, when paired with the QuickCool™ Tray , allows you to release pressure naturally up to 70% faster. More Controls Dial Turn the dial to scroll through options, and press to make a selection. Cancel Press to stop a Smart Programme at any time. Cooker goes back to Standby and displays OFF. Delay Start Postpone cooking for up to 24 hours. Select a Smart Programme and if desired, adjust the cooking time, then press Delay Start to turn the setting on.
