turn to lock lid. The lid is on and in the lock position just like every other time I've used it.

The Instant Pot DUO PLUS Series may not recognize that the lid is locked due to the following reasons:

1. No sealing ring in the lid – Install a sealing ring.
2. Damaged or improperly installed sealing ring – Replace or reinstall the sealing ring.
3. Food debris on the sealing ring – Remove and clean the sealing ring.
4. Lid not closed properly – Open and securely close the lid.
5. Warped or off-center sealing ring rack – Check for bends or warps and contact Customer Care if necessary.
6. Misshapen inner pot rim – Inspect for deformation and contact Customer Care.
7. Food debris on the float valve or float valve silicone cap – Remove and clean the float valve.

Checking and resolving these issues should help the Instant Pot recognize that the lid is properly locked.
