Remove screw and locking bolts / screws
Instruments
357.377 Helical Blade Coupling Screw
357.428 Screw Inserter/Extractor
Align the inserter/extractor with the back end of the screw.
Tip: The inserter is aligned when the tabs on the inserter
mate with the flats on the screw. Insert the coupling screw
and thread it into the screw. Extract the screw by turning the
inserter/extractor counterclockwise.
Remove all locking bolts / screws using the 3.5 mm hexagonal
screwdriver.
Tip: Inserting a K-wire into the screw may facilitate aligning
the inserter/extractor with the screw.

Extract nail
Instruments

357.25 Slide Hammer
To remove the nail, thread the hammer guide and slide
hammer assembly onto the back end of the nail extraction
screw. Hold onto the extraction screw and use light hammer
blows to extract the nail.
