Description
Speakers (include left and right speakers and cables)
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the speakers:
1.
Release the speaker cable from the retention clips (1) and routing channel built into the keyboard/
top cover.
2.
Release the wireless antenna cables from the retention clips (2) and routing channel built into the
left speaker.
3.
Remove the three Phillips M2.5 × 6.7 screws (3) that secure the left display hinge to the keyboard/
top cover.
4.
Swing the left display hinge (4) up and back until the left speaker is accessible.
5.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 5.7 screws (5) that secure the speakers to the keyboard/top cover.
