15-pin, analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B compat-
ible functions.

The computer has two Universal Serial Bus ports that
comply with the USB 2.0 standard, which enables data
transfer speeds 40 times faster than the USB 1.1 standard.
(The ports also support USB 1.1.)
A PC card slot accommodates one 5mm Type II card.
This slot lets you easily transfer data from devices, such
as digital cameras and Personal Digital Assistants, that use
SD card flash-memory.
You can use memory module in this slot.
Windows Sound System compatible sound system
provides internal speaker as well as jacks for an external
microphone and headphone.
An internal modem provides capability for data and fax
communication. It supports V.90 (V.92). Refer to
E. The speed of data transfer and fax depends on analog
telephone line conditions. It has a modem jack for connect-
ing to a telephone line. It is preinstalled as a standard
device in some markets. Both of V.90 and V.92 are
supported only in USA, Canada and Australia. Only V.90
is available in other regions.
The computer is equipped with a LAN card that supports
Ethernet LAN (10 Mbit/s, 10BASE-T) and Fast Ethernet
LAN (100 Mbit/s, 100BASE-TX). It is preinstalled as a
standard device in some markets.
