Dynamic Noise Covering – masking of vehi-
cle noise.
When your vehicle is in motion, the DNC sys-
tem raises the radio volume to the volume
you consider pleasant when your vehicle is
stationary.
The volume is raised depending upon fre-
quency ranges and noise development inside
the vehicle.
As a result, volume and sound remain agree-
able even when vehicle noise changes. Short-
term noises, such as those arising when you
cross a railway track, are not taken into ac-
count.
For operation to suit your vehicle, the system
must be lined up using the special micro-
phone. Please do not line up DNC until you
have aligned the hifi. The microphone should
be permanently mounted near to the console
using the self-adhesive tape provided, how-
ever not in the leg area, in resounding places
or near the fan/heater vents.
The microphone mouthpiece should point
towards the passenger area. It is best to line
up the system in a quiet place with the en-
gine switched off.
