About Remaining Battery Indicator
When pressing the remaining battery indicator
switch, the remaining battery indicator lamp lights
and the battery remaining power can be checked.
(Fig. 20)
When releasing your fi nger from the remaining
battery indicator switch, the remaining battery
indicator lamp goes off . The Table 3 shows the
state of remaining battery indicator lamp and the
battery remaining power.
State of lamp
As the remaining battery indicator shows somewhat diff erently depending on ambient temperature
and battery characteristics, read it as a reference.
NOTE
Do not give a strong shock to the switch panel or break it. It may lead to a trouble.
To save the battery power consumption, the remaining battery indicator lamp lights while
pressing the remaining battery indicator switch.

Adjusting operating speed
CAUTION
Do not subject the switch panel to shock or damage.
Select mode while the trigger switch is released. Failure to do so could result in
malfunction.
The blade's stroke volume can be adjusted to any level depending on how much the unit's
switch is pulled in.
Also, the maximum number of strokes can be selected with the mode selector switch. The
more the unit's switch is pulled, the higher the number of strokes.
When starting a cut, begin cutting with low strokes (slow speed) to accurately cut the
desired position. Once you have the desired cut, raise the number of strokes (high speed)
and fi nish cutting.
