5.3 Troubleshooting

MALFUNCTIONS
The folding machine will not start.
No primary folding.
CAUSES
One of the motor-circuit brakers
or a safety device is engaged.
The machine has stopped.
No air pressure in the machine.
Folding machine measurement
problem.
Folding machine measurement OPG
problem.
Selected program = Bypass
programme without folding.
Blowing valve and blade control
outputs appear defective.

SOLUTIONS
Reset the circuit breaker concerned
and check why it was set off.
Remove the emergency stops.
Check that the movable covers are
properly closed.
Flick the main switch.
Press the Start key on the general
.
control panel
Reset the machine.
Check the machine's air supply and
the compressed air circuit.
Check the folding machine cell input
(input test).
Check the machine's OPG or OPGs
(OPG test).
Change the program.
Test and change the outputs.
