3.3 INTERVENTION DURING OPERATION

It is strictly forbidden to intervene during operation.
Before intervening and after the machine has completely stopped, it is essential to:
- Set the main switch to OFF and padlock it
Padlock not provided
- Close the air intake valve and padlock it.
Padlock not provided
When various movable covers on the machine are opened, it stops. The machine
can only be switched on again once these covers are back in place. It is therefore
necessary to make frequent checks that these protective devices are working
properly.
NEVER REMOVE OR TRY TO ALTER SAFETY ELEMENTS
If any intervention requires the dismantling of a fixed guard (for example, cover, bolt-
on grilles, etc...) the machine's main switch must be padlocked and its air intake valve
must be closed.
Before it is switched on again, checks must be made that all covers have been
reassembled and that the keys of electrical cabinets have been removed.
When the machine is equipped with a service bridge, the access ladder must be
removed after any intervention.
Access to the access ladder is reserved strictly to trained machine operating and
maintenance staff.
