Filling the fuel store

Danger
Lashing movements of the leaf springs can
cause serious injury, even if the drive motor is
not connected to the power supply.
Do not enter the fuel store.
Conduct a supervised test run from outside
the fuel store.

Please note
The leaf springs/articulated arms can be dam-
aged by the high pressure of the fuel.
Note the order of the following steps.

1. Shut down the boiler approx. five
hours before filling

1. Fill the fuel store evenly with fuel to approx. 30 cm
above the leaf springs/articulated arms.
2. Start the spring core or horizontal discharge via the
silo filling control unit function.
As the discharge rotates, this causes the leaf
springs/articulated arms to turn.
This process takes about 4 minutes.
3. Once the process has finished and the shut-off
gate valve (if present) is closed, the fuel store can
be filled completely.
