Use adjustable
straps to secure
mattress to bed base.
On a profiling bed,
secure straps around
moveable bed base
section.

Attach air hoses to
the control unit,
ensuring hoses
are not twisted.

Ensure CPR tag is
firmly inserted
(see below).

Once power cord
connected, feed the
cord through the
retention loops on
side of mattress base
to keep cord off the
floor.

The CPR tag is
constructed using
double lumen
connectors. This
feature ensures the
CPR tag is not
detached due to
backward pressure.

To connect the CPR
tag into the mattress
base, line up the
two connectors
and insert
simultaneously,
pressing firmly to
fully engage all
lumen connectors.

Inflate prior to lying patient on mattress

To inflate, press Power
button for at least
three (3) seconds
to switch on. Pressure
Setting indicators
(Soft to Hard) will flash
to indicate system
is operational and
inflating.
Allow up to 40
minutes for complete
inflation.

When inflation is
complete, the fourth
indicator, together
with Alternating
Mode indicator will
illuminate.

Set comfort level to
correct setting to
match patient range.

to regularly check the mattress for 'bottoming out'. For more information

Repeat steps 5–7 in the event of power disruption
or unintended deflation / bottoming out.

If the CPR tag
does not sit flush
against the base,
remove and
reinsert, making
sure both
connectors are
inserted at the
same time.
