Emergency stop

In emergency situations, ensure that
you immediately activate the emergency
stop switch, which is fitted on the side of
the engine.

Maintenance

Check the oil level every time before starting the engine and refill if necessary.
Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation. Then once per year,
Clean or replace the air filter as required.
Make sure the V-belts are always tight.
Check the rotor bearings and wheel bearings regularly.
All of the technical checks and maintenance must be carried out with the engine
switched off and the sparkplug terminal removed.
Wipe off the machine with a damp cloth. If you use a high pressure cleaner, never
point the jet directly at the bearings.
The two lubricating nipples on the rotor require lubrication once a year or after
500 hours of operation.
Before putting the machine into storage, lubricate or oil the rotor, blades and
counterknife to protect against corrosion.
