POSSIBLE CAUSES
Dirty or wet ignitor(s)

Grill grate is not positioned
correctly; grease runs down
into the radiant tray rather
than the grease drip-pan

A CLEAN cycle is already
running in the main oven
The secondary oven is

WHAT TO DO
Clean the ignitor(s).
See 'Care and cleaning' for
instructions.
This is normal and doesn't
affect cooking performance.
The griddle cannot be used
until power is restored.
Wait until the CLEAN cycle
has finished, or follow the
instructions under 'To cancel
a CLEAN cycle in the section
'Care and cleaning'.
Minor flare-ups are normal.
To minimize them, trim excess
fat off meat before grilling.
Turn the grill off, wait for it to
cool, then position it correctly.
