Tape P layback
(M exico C assette M odel)
T his type of radio pro vid e s fo r the
playback of p re re c o rd e d stereo
m usic th ro u g h the u n iq ue c o m b in a ­
tio n of all th e fe a tu re s of an
a u to m a tic sig n a lse e kin g stereo
ra dio w ith a tape player.
To s ta rt playback, in se rt stereo
cassette th ro u g h th e sw ing-aw ay
d o o r of th e ca sse tte s lo t and
depress u ntil th e m echanism
engages. (N ote: Full reel on the rig h t
tape sid e of ca ssette first.) The
ca ssette w ill be a u to m a tica lly
released when th e tape reaches its
end. To play the o th e r side, rem ove
th e cassette from th e radio, turn it
upside dow n and re in se rt th ro u g h
the slot. To m an u ally e je c t the
cassette, push the release ba r (7).
W hen the ca ssette is e je cte d, the
u n it w ill a u to m a tic a lly sw itch to
ra d io re ce p tio n . Fast fo rw a rd o r re­
w in d o f th e tape is a cco m p lish e d
by de p ressing th e button 8 o r 9,
respectively.
C are o f th e Tape Player
Use o n ly goo d q u a lity cassettes w ith
a m axim um playing tim e of
45 m inutes per side (C 90). " Un­
w o u n d " tapes can be fixed by
re w in d in g e ith e r reel w ith a pencil
inserted in its hub. The pick-up head
and ro lle r should be cleaned
o c c a s io n a lly to m aintain the orig in a l
high q u a lity sound re p ro d uctio n .
