5. Lower the thick wire Ethernet assembly into place
as shown in the following illustration, and secure it
with the screw that secured the blanking plate.
Note
The thick wire Ethernet connector mounting plate
must be touching the inside of the system unit
plastics.
SOCKET
6. Plug the connector on the assembly into the system
board socket identified earlier.
7. Ensure that the Ethernet selection switch is in the
correct position for the network cabling that you
wish to connect it to, refer to the label on the inside
of the system unit cover.
8. Reassemble the computer.
