    ENGLISH 1 - INTRODUCTION The SWIFTPET PRO pipette controller is a device intended for pipetting liquids with the use of measuring pipettes. It can work with all types of glass or plastic pipettes in the volume range from 0.5 ml to 100 ml.

    3 - LIMITATIONS OF USE • The SWIFTPET PRO may not be used for measuring substances, the vapours of which damage the following plastics: PP , SI, EPDM, POM. • The pipette controller may not be used in an environment where explosion risk is present.
  • Page 7 The SWIFTPET PRO has two dispense modes. The dispense mode is selected by succes- sive pressing the MODE switch (fig. 1D) until the display shows the right mode (fig. 1E).

    Before sending the product should be cleaned and decontaminated. Filled in questionnaire available at www.htl.com.pl with precise specification of solutions used and the type of laboratory, in which the device has been used, shall be sent together with the product.

    8 - CHARGING THE BATTERIES CAUTION! The SWIFTPET PRO may be charged only with the original charger. The mains voltage must conform with the specification on the charger. Using other chargers than the original one may damage the battery of the pipette controller.

    ENGLISH 11 - ORDERING INFORMATION The SWIFTPET PRO comes with a universal charger and a set of adapters in different versions: EU, US, UK and Australia. Choose your country used adapter and connect to the housing. To mount the adapter, it should be inserted into the slots of the housing in the direction of the arrow (1), until you hear a click engagement.

ACHTUNG: • Das Gerät kann beschädigt werden, falls es entgegen den Richtlinien der Betriebsanleitung benutzt wird.

    • Die Pipettierhilfe SWIFTPET PRO ist nur zum Abmessen von Flüssigkeit bei den vom Hersteller angegebenen Bedingungen einzusetzen, die wegen der chemischen und mechanischen Beständigkeit des Gerätes, aber auch in Hinsicht auf die Sicherheit des Nutzers, begrenzt sind. • Benutzen Sie die Pipettierhilfe auf keinen Fall in einer explosionsgefährdenden Atmosphäre.

    8 - AUFLADEN DES AKKUS ACHTUNG: Die Pipettierhilfe SWIFTPET PRO darf nur mit dem Original-Ladegerät aufgeladen werden, da es sonst zu einer Beschädigung der Pipettierhilfe oder Zerstörung der Akkus kommen kann. Die Ladung der Akkus im Pipettor SWIFTPET PRO erfolgt unter der Kontrolle des Mikroprozessorsystems, das den ganzen Prozess überwacht.

    Akkus aus der Pipettierhilfe herauszunehmen. 9 - WARTUNG Reinigung Die Pipettierhilfe SWIFTPET PRO ist wartungsfrei. Die Außenteile können mit einem mit Isopro py lalkohol getränkten Wattebausch gereinigt werden. Kappe und Pipettenhalter können in einem Autoklav bei einer Tempe-ratur von 121 °C - 20 Minuten lang - gereinigt werden.

    8 - CHARGEMENT DES ACCUMULATEURS ATTENTION: Le pipetteur SWIFTPET PRO peut ˘tre chargé seulement ∫ l’aide d’un chargeur original. La tension dans le réseau doit ˘tre conforme ∫ celle marquée sur le chargeur. L’utilisation d’un chargeur différent peut provoquer l’endommagement du pipetteur ou la destruction des accumulateurs.

    9 - CONSERVATION Nettoyage Le pipetteur SWIFTPET PRO n’a pas besoin de conservation. Les surfaces externes du dis- positif peuvent ˘tre nettoyées avec un tampon imbibé d’alcool isopropylique. Le capot et la fixation de la pipette, peuvent ˘tre autoclavés pendant 20 minutes, ∫ la tem- pérature de 121 °C.

    ESPAπOL 1 - INTRODUCCIÓN El instrumento SWIFTPET PRO es un aparato destinado a la medición del volumen de líqui- dos mediante pipetas graduadas, y puede emplearse en combinación con todo tipo de pipetas desde 0,5 ml hasta 100 ml, tanto de vidrio como de plástico.

    El uso de un cargador diferente podría estropear la batería o provocar daños en el in - strumento. La carga de la batería en pipeta SWIFTPET PRO se efectua bajo el control del sistema microprocesador que supervisiona todo el proceso. Después de cargar las baterías, el cir- cuito de carga se desconecta automáticamente.

    9 - MANTENIMIENTO Limpieza El SWIFTPET PRO no requiere de un mantenimiento especial. La partes exteriores pueden limpiarse con un algodón empapado en alcohol isopropílico. El cono protección y la boquilla de conexión, pueden esterili zar se en un autoclave a 121 °C durante 20 minutos.
