This Bus Interface Module is designed to read engine information from specific Holley EFI kits. These kits include Holley
Terminator, HP, Sniper and Dominator. The module is connected to the Holley EFI through the CAN-bus plug on the EFI
harness. Depending on your EFI module you may have a 2-pin or 4-pin CAN connector. We supply EFI adapter
harnesses that will allow you to connect with your particular kit.
There are two interface (I/O) ports on the module. Either one can be connected to the gauge system or to another
module, allowing several units to be daisy chained together. Do not connect the I/O port to anything other than a Dakota
Digital gauge or BIM. Do not mount the module in the engine compartment; it should be mounted in interior of the vehicle.
The engine and transmission information that is available from the unit depends on the EFI kit and module programming
and add-ons. The possible values are: engine RPM, vehicle speed, engine coolant temperature, intake/manifold air
temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, average A/F ratio, MAP and boost.
Data that should always be available: RPM, engine temp, intake/manifold temp, MAP, A/F ratio
Data that is kit and add-on dependent: vehicle speed, oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost

To make this change select the ‘System ICF’ tab, then ’Basic I/O’>>’CAN Bus’>>’CAN Bus 1 and 2 Type’.

    VFD/VHX/HDX wiring tip: When connecting to a VFD, VHX or HDX display system you can easily get power and ground from the control box RESERVED+ (FUEL+) and FUEL- terminals. These terminals are normally not used. Connect the BIM-xx-1 adapter harness RED wire to the RESERVED+ (FUEL+) terminal and connect the BIM-xx-1 adapter harness BLACK wire to the FUEL- terminal.
