Shredder Operation - Royal Sovereign RDS-15C8 Owner's Manual

Shredder Operation：
1.Remove the unit contents. Place the shredder head on the basket.
2.Plug the power cord into any standard electrical outlet.
3.Place the switch in the AUTO position
The Switch has four (4) settings.
a.When set to AUTO, the shredder will automatically begin shredding when paper is inserted
into the feed opening. The shredder will stop automatically once the paper fully inserted.
b.REV is used to assist in the removal of a possible paper jam.
The unit will reverses the shredding process helping to clear the jam and clear
the paper cutter.
c.In FWD mode, the shredder blades will continue rotating, even if no paper entered.
This helps to clear any paper jam and remove paper pieces which may remain
in the shredder blades.
d .OFF position should be selected when emptying the wastebasket or when the shredder
is not in use for a prolonged period of time.
Shredding Small Items：
This unit shreds 8 sheets at a time. When shredding small items such as envelopes or
credit card receipts, please insert them through the middle of the feed opening .
