Charge the Battery

Before you use the battery for the first time, charge the battery for
about 2 hours with the tester turned off (Figure 2).
The battery takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge when the
probe is turned off.
A fully-charged battery operates for approximately 10.8 hours of
typical use. You can use the Auto Power Off setting in the app to
reduce battery usage. See page 22.
You do not need to fully discharge the battery
before you recharge it.
The battery will not charge if its temperature is
outside the range of 32 °F to 113 °F (0 °C to 45 °C)
or if it has a fault and must be replaced. The LED
blinks red and green if the battery will not charge.
