Ultrasound
1. Turn on unit (the main switch is on top of the main
screen on the left)
2. Select "Ultrasound" menu (this is the 2
console (first row)).
3. Press "Customize"
4. Set Frequency: 1 or 3 MHz
5. Set Mode: Continuous or Pulse mode (duty cycle
10%, 20%, or 50%)
6. Set display (W or W/cm

to display W/cm
7. Set time
8. Ignore Duty Cycle Frequency
9. Place the play button on the round dial.
10. Apply gel to the tissue and then apply the
transducer. To start the treatment, rotate the
Intensity knob to the desired output. The light on the
ultrasound head will turn green when the unit is
active.
11. If you want to stop treatment before treatment is
over, turn the dial down to 0, or press the stop
button below the round dial. You can also pause
treatment by pressing the pause button on the
round dial.
12. When treatment is completed, hold down the power
button until the unit turns off

Channel mode: single (using one channel), reciprocal (channel 1 goes on, turns off while channel 2 goes on. Select the cycle time including: i. the ramp time (how long it takes to reach maximal contraction, you can set this to 2 seconds ii. the on time which corresponds to the work time (how many continuous seconds it’s on for can set it to 10 seconds) iii. the off time, which corresponds to the rest time (how long it is off before it turns back on again, you can set it for 50 seconds) iv. Frequency. Select the appropriate frequency for strength or endurance v. Phase duration (which is also the pulse duration) set it to 300 microseconds vi. Time – total treatment time (if you want 10 contractions, and the work time is 10 seconds and the rest time is 50 seconds, then this treatment will take you 10- minutes) vii.
