DIAL tone on speaker.
DIAL tone off.
RINGBACK tone on.
RINGBACK tone off.
CARRIER tone on speaker.
DATA SHIFT lamp off.
MODEM CTRL lamp on.
CONNECT lamp on.
CARRIER tone off.
PDN lamp off.
Comment
All numeric input, # and * are
accepted. During call setup all
legal user input appears on
terminal screen.
If called modem is free, tone is
heard. (If it is busy, see step 18.)
Enter (CR) when DN IDLE
appears on screen (Note 5).
ENTER REMOTE NUMBER
appears on screen and PDN
lights.
Call is placed to the remote
number. If it is free, Ringback
tone is received. PDN is on. See
step 18.
Tone heard from remote modem.
Enter (CR) AT CARRIER tone.
CALL CONNECTED appears on
screen. PDN is off.
Host echoes all typed input.
Host echoes all typed input.
