Fixed power module failure

The S5110V2
S5110V2-52P-PWR switches support AC power input, RPS power input, and concurrent AC and
RPS DC inputs. The other S5110V2 switch models support only AC power input.
To identify a power failure on a switch with fixed power modules, examine the system status LED and
the RPS status LED for an S5110V2-52P-PWR switch. For the other switch models, you can identify
a power failure only through the system status LED.

AC input failure

Symptom
The system status LED is off.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
Verify that the AC power cord is securely connected to the switch, and the AC-input power

Verify that the AC power source is operating correctly.

Verify that the operating temperature of the switch is in the acceptable range, and the power

module has good ventilation. Over-temperature can cause the power module to stop working
and enter the protection state.
