INSTRUMENT PANEL
The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below depend on the vehicle
equipment and country.

ABS warning light
It comes on when the
engine is started then
goes out.
If it comes on when you are
driving, it indicates a fault in the
anti-lock braking system.
Braking will operate as normal,
in the same way as a vehicle
without the ABS system.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.
Airbag warning light
This lights up when the
ignition
is
on and goes out after a few
seconds.
If it does not light up when the
ignition is switched on, or
comes on when the engine is
running, there is a fault in the
system.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.

SERVICE warning light
This lights up when the
Indicator
light

Electronic
Stability
Program
(ESP)

traction control system

Preheating
light
This light should come
on when the ignition key is in
position M to indicate that the
heater plugs are functioning. It
goes out when pre-heating is
completed and the engine can
be started.
Passenger airbag
deselected
This
warning
comes on several seconds after
the ignition is switched on
when the airbags are deactivated
(depending on vehicle).
Driver's seat belt not
fastened warning light
If the driver's seat belt is
not fastened it begins to flash
when the vehicle reaches a
speed of 6 mph (20 km/h) and a
buzzer
sounds
approximately two minutes.
