QUICKSHIFT GEARBOX
Operating faults
If the "check gearbox" message
appears with the
light when the vehicle is being
driven, this indicates that there is a
fault. In most cases, you may still
drive the vehicle, although it will
not function perfectly. However,
you should consult a RENAULT
Dealer as soon as possible.
If you hold the vehicle on a slope for
too long without applying the
brakes or handbrake you will strain
the system and there is a risk that
the clutch will overheat.
In this case, the "overheating
gearbox" message appears with the
warning light; this message
will remind you to depress the
brake pedal or apply the handbrake.
