Removing and Installing Components

Prerequisites
The system unit is designed to enable any necessary maintenance work to be
carried out quickly and at low cost.

Please read the warnings on the first pages of the user's guide before you
open the housing of the system unit.

Risk of damage to the unit!
Note that only qualified personnel should be allowed to work on the open unit,
so the warranty on the device is not affected. Authorized SIEMENS
maintenance and repair centers offer you a specialist maintenance service. The
user's guide supplies you with their addresses.

The electronic components of the printed boards are extremely sensitive to
electrostatic discharge. When handling the boards, precautionary measures
must be taken. Please refer to the guidelines for electrostatically sensitive
components (ESD guidelines) in the User Manual, Section 1.1.
