Configuring Memory Mirror

In Cisco C880 M5, Full Mirror Mode and Address Range Mirror Mode are
supported as the memory mirror, in which the function with the CPU is used.
Full Mirror/Address Range Mirror can be selected from iRMC Web-UI.

6.3.2.1 Configuring Address Range Mirror
This section describes how to use Address Range Mirror in Red Hat Enterprise
Linux/ SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. You must select "OS Request" to specify
mirror size in BIOS menu.
Maximum and Minimum Mirror Size
You can set percentage to <Percentage of mirror size> in "Setting Procedure".
The maximum value is 50. The minimum value is shown below. (*1)

There are following two rules;
1. Mirror size must be 16GB and more.
e.g) for installed memory size = 128GB: 13%, for installed memory size =
256GB: 7%.
2. Percentage of mirror size must be 3% and more.
e.g) for installed memory size = 1TB: 3%, for installed memory size = 2TB:
3%.
In these rules, calculated by 1GB = 1024 x 1024 x 1024B.

Description
Memory Mirroring is executed to memories on all
SBs included in a chassis.
Memory Mirroring is partially executed to memories
included in a chassis. Memory size to be mirrored is
specified by BIOS or OS.
