Electrical Connections, cont'd.
Each DC power supply lead is attached to the correct polar-
ity wire of the refrigerator power supply.
The chassis or the vehicle frame is not used as one of the
conductors.

The DC power supply wires including the fuses are routed
directly from the battery to the refrigerator.
The wire connections are tight and free of corrosion.
■ If any of these items are not correct, a voltage will occur and
decrease the cooling performance of the refrigerator.
CAUTION:
Disconnect the positive (+) DC power supply wire
!
from the battery before you do a "fast charge" of the battery. Failure to
disconnect the positive (+) power supply wire from the battery during
a "fast charge" can cause damage to the refrigerator or to other DC
appliances.

Self-Test Diagnostics

The unit's control module is equipped with a "Self-Test Diagnostic"
function which can be read using a light emitting diode (LED).
To access indicated errors in the control module you will need the
following:
One 10 mA LED with wire leads (A)
Two 1/4 inch push-on female connectors (B1) and (B2)
One 1/4 inch adapter (C) with 1 female to 2 male
connections. (See Fig. 7)
