    H1-01-08 Description of the functioning of the touch control for 5 zones (EKE 854.1) and pan sensor (EKE905.2F) Please note the safety instructions! Subsequent to initial connection and after a power failure will appear briefly in the LED displays. Rotating, circling symbols will then be indicated. This means that the sensors have been checked automatically and that the touch sensitivity has also been newly set.

    H1-01-08 Explanation of the code functions Pan sensor calibration When this function is activated, the display will show until calibration has been completed. No objects may be placed on the hob for the duration of the calibration process. Should it not be possible to activate the pan sensor calibration mode within 5seconds, the calibration request and the display will be deleted.

    H1-01-08 If you touch the plus key, the cooking zone starts at setting 5, without parboiling boost. When the minus sensor is touched the cooking zone will commence operation at setting 9. This will also automatically activate the automatic parboil mode. Switching off the cooking zone: press the plus sensor key and the minus sensor key simultaneously.

    H1-01-08 Operating time The temperature of the cooking zones is time-regulated. The respective cooking zone will be switched on and off in accordance with the following table, depending on the control setting. Switch position Switching on in sec. Switching off in sec. This means that if the setting is 6 the regulator will be switched on for 14 seconds and will then remain at OFF for 33 seconds.

    H1-01-08 Automatic boost function All cooking zones have an automatic initial cooking function. The parboiling boost is activated at full power. The parboiling boost time depends on the subsequent cooking level which has been selected after the activation. The cooking zone automatically changes to the selected subsequent cooking level as soon as the set parboiling boost time has elapsed.

    H1-01-08 Rapid cut-out All of the cooking zones can be switched off quickly with the OFF sensor. Sensor lock The childproof lock can be used to protect the appliance against unauthorised use. The hob must be switched on. Activating the childproof lock: Touch the lock key for about 2 seconds.
