The satellite is fitted with an adjustable automatic by-pass (see figure 5) which opens the recirculation circuit when the
module does not require heat. To adjust, turn the screw "B", using a screwdriver. The "+" on the hydraulic assembly
indicates complete aperture while "-" indicates closure. If modulating pumps are fitted, the by-pass can be completely
closed.
7. FLOW/HEAD CHARACTERISTICS OF SECONDARY CIRCUIT PUMP
This model has a self-modulating circulation pump.
Make sure the circuit pressure drops downline from the module are compatible with the supplied pump. In this case, the
column pump only has to make up for pressure loss in the circuit upstream of the Module (residual head is allowable).
The pump must be adjusted as instructed below in order to obtain the correct working pressure. This can be done when
the system is cold.
The circulating flow rate value is shown on the heat meter display (see §12).
