4 - FUNZIONAMENTO Con Smarty è possibile scegliere fra le seguenti due modalità di erogazione: “A RICHIESTA” e “CONTI- NUA”. 4.1 Tasto (1A) Premete questo tasto nella sola fase inspiratoria per ottenere l’erogazione del far- maco in modalità “A RICHIESTA”; l’apparecchio funziona solo se mantenete premuto il tasto. -

5 - SMONTAGGIO DELL’APPARECCHIO Terminata l’applicazione terapeutica, procedete come segue: 5.1 Premete il Pulsante di Sgancio (1C) posto sul retro dell’apparecchio. 5.2 Sfilate la Camera farmaco completa estraibile (2) 5.3 Procedete alla completa pulizia come illustrato nel capitolo 6. PULIZIA, SA- NIFICAZIONE, DISINFEZIONE. - Page 9 ATTENZIONE! Testina di nebulizzazione (2G). Testina di nebulizzazione (2G) con le dita o con degli utensili, potreste danneggiarla irreparabilmente.
- Page 10 6 - PULIZIA, SANIFICAZIONE, DISINFEZIONE Prima e dopo ogni utilizzo, l’apparecchio e gli accessori devono essere puli- ti e disinfettati correttamente come di seguito descritto. Se ciò non avvenis- se, alcuni microrganismi potrebbero depositarsi nell’apparecchio, causan- do il rischio d’infezione. Non utilizzate alcool per la pulizia del dispositivo. 6.1.

4 - OPERATION Select the preferred delivery mode (“ON DEMAND” or “CONTINUOUS”) 4.1 ON DEMAND button (1A) Press this button when inhaling to obtain the delivery of medi- cation “ON DEMAND”. The device works only when you press the button. 4.2 START AND STOP / CONTINUOUS button (1B): Press this button to obtain the “CONTINUOUS”... - Page 24 5 - DISASSEMBLY When treatment is finished: 5.1 Press the Medication chamber release button (1C) positioned on the back of the unit. 5.2 Remove the Medication chamber (2). 5.3 Carefully clean it according to the CLEANING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION instructions in paragraph 6. 5.4 To access the Nebuliser head (2G) in the Nebulising chamber(2B) release the Medication cup locking clip and open the Medication cup cover (2D).

- Page 26 6 - CLEANING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION Before and after each use, the device and the accessories must be cleaned and disinfected properly as described below. If this is not done, some mi- croorganisms may collect in the device, causing the risk of infection. Abso- lutely do not use alcohol to clean the device 6.1.
- Page 27 6.2 CLEANING the Main Unit To clean the Main Unit(1) use a soft sponge or a cloth slightly moistened with an antibacterial detergent, then dry it with a soft paper towel. ATTENZIONE! Do not immerse the Main Unit (1) in water and do not wash it under running water.
