Introduction

These instructions explain how to replace the bezel in the PC9 Industrial
PC or the P9 PowerStation. The bezel is the front part of the unit that
encloses the display screen. This documentation includes instructions for
replacing touchscreen and non-touchscreen bezels. The instructions
explain how to disassemble the unit, remove the old bezel, install a new
bezel, and reassemble the unit.

To complete this procedure, you will need the following items:

Disassembling the Unit

To disassemble the unit, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the unit.
2. Disconnect the unit from the power source.
3. Disconnect all cables attached to the unit.
4. Remove the unit from its enclosure, and place it on a static dissi-
pative mat, in a location free from dirt and moisture and protected
against static discharge.
CTC Parker Automation
For safety reasons, the unit should be opened only by qualified
service personnel.
Be sure to observe electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions
while working inside the unit.
Bezel kit that you purchased:
• P9/PC9 Non-touchscreen Bezel Kit for use with 12" display
units (BZK-1200)
• P9/PC9 Non-touchscreen Bezel Kit for use with 15" display
units (BZK-1500)
• P9/PC9 Touchscreen Bezel Kit for use with 12" display
units (BZK-1201)
• P9/PC9 Touchscreen Bezel Kit for use with 15" display
units (BZK-1501)

    P9 or PC9. Follow the instructions carefully. To replace the bezel, follow these steps: 1. Remove the 10 retaining screws (P9), or 3 retaining screws (PC9) around the outer monitor frame. 2. Lift the outer monitor frame off the bezel, and set it to one side.
