SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before use, you must visually check the entire fall arrest system (fall prevention system and
anchor points (=guide bushes)) for obvious defects (e.g. loose screws, deformations,
abrasion, corrosion, etc.).
If there are any doubts concerning the safe functioning of the restraint system, it must be
checked by an expert (written documentation).
• The annual check of the device must be carried out by specialists and documented in
writing.
• You must not use the fall prevention system for windows as an anchorage point for personal
restraint or fall arrest systems (danger of life)!
• Do not climb the telescopic bars.
• Do not leave ladders leaning against the fall prevention system.
• Do not put tools or working materials on the fall prevention system.
• Do not use the fall prevention system for windows as a child safety harness.
• Do not use the fall prevention system for windows for hoisting or letting down scaffolds,
construction materials and cleaning materials, etc.
• INNOTECH FAS 01-03 have been developed for personal safety and may not be used for
other purposes.
• Do not carry out any changes to any part of the safety device.
• Never straighten bent anchor pegs yourself (danger of breaking).
• Immediately stop using the fall prevention system for windows if the device is damaged or
malfunctions.
• Slacken the fall prevention system for windows before you transport and store it.
• If external contractors use the restraint system, the instructions for installation and usage
must be handed over in writing.
