5. SERVICING

The stethoscope requires no servicing.

6 . DISPOSAL

This device consists of high-quality raw materials which can be recycled. Dispose
of the device in accordance with the local laws and regulations applicable in your
country.

7 . WARRANTY

There is a two-year warranty period from delivery for defects attributable to poor
materials or workmanship. Defects which come under the warranty will be repaired
for the customer free of charge against proof of purchase. Additional claims cannot
be considered. Costs of transport to and from seca are the responsibility of the
customer if the device is located somewhere other than the customer's headquarters.
In the event of transport damage, warranty claims can only be made if the complete
original packaging was used for transport and the device was secured and fastened
therein according to its originally-packed condition. You should therefore keep all
packaging parts.
The warranty will be voided if the device is opened by persons not expressly
authorized by seca to do so.

8 . DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

This product complies with Council Directive 93/42/EEC pertaining to medical
devices. For more information on the conformity of seca products, please go to

We recommend the following cleaning products and disinfectants:
• Fugaten spray (Lysoform spray)
®
• Esemfix from Schülke (foam cleaner)
®
• Promanum pure from Braun
®
• Meliseptol Foam pure from Braun
®
To maintain the elasticity of the tubing and other non-metal components,
we recommend using a care product designed for vinyl.
