6. Make sure that the Custom Action is selected on the Custom Action list.
7. Click Close to close Epson Event Manager.

Decreasing the File Size of the Scanned Image

Change the scan settings to decrease the file size of the scanned image.
Note:
The amount that can be decreased varies depending on the original.
❏ Change the file format:
Select PDF format to scan documents, and select JPEG format to scan photos or pictures.
❏ Lower the resolution:
200 dpi scanning provides sufficient quality when scanning documents.
