- Page 3 Disc Gang Adjustment: Disc gangs are designed to run 1/2” to 1” shallower than the cultivator sweeps. At this depth, the sweeps are allowed to work in firm ground which improves trash flow. 1) Adjust the depth gauge to read +1/2” to +1”. Do not run the disc or coulter gangs in the RED ZONE.
- Page 4 HD Spike & Reel Settings: On HD spike drags, start with five chain links hanging from the bottom drag arm slot (this is a starting point for the worst conditions). The cleaner the ground, the shorter the pull chain may be pulled. Note: Make sure that the drag is never pulling off of the hang chains.
