BATTERY RECHARGEMENT

How to charge the battery

The stimulator is supplied together with a rechargeable battery. The batteries are Nickel Metal
hydrate type with peak efficiency without memory
effect. When the battery indicator lights up on the
display it is advisable to recharge the batteries.
Shut off the stimulator and the electrodes; connect
it to the supplied charger (Model MED), inserting
the plug in the special outlet (see the side figure).
The LED on the charger is lit when the connection is
correctly executed. The first recharge must be abso-
lutely complete and it has not to be stopped for any reason. A complete recharge takes about
10 hours; should the stimulator accidentally stay connected for longer than (72 hours) the bat-
tery will not be damaged.
Only use the charger supplied with the stimulator. Battery should only be replaced by an autho-
rized centre.
Attention
Do not use a charger different from that supplied with the stimulator.
During the charger the stimulator MUST NOT be connected to the electrodes.
If the charger is connected with the stimulator switched on, it will automatically switch off.
Should the cable or connector show signs of wear and tear you should replace it immediately.
