Draining the System
It is always recommended to keep the feature running continuously, 24 hours per day. There is no need to
change the water regularly. If the feature must be turned off for an extended period of time, it is best that the
feature is fully drained, so water does not sit stagnant. Follow these steps to drain the system:
Filling & Starting the System
WATER CAPACITY: Refer to previous table for quantity
REMOVE ROCK TRAYS OR ACCESS PANELS (IF APPLICABLE)
1)
Shut off the power to the system;
2)
Remove the fill cap using 5/8" hex wrench;
3)
Remove the water using a wet/dry vacuum
with hose attachment.
USE DISTILLED WATER ONLY
REMOVE ROCK TRAYS OR ACCESS PANELS (IF APPLICABLE)
1) Remove the PVC fill cap using plyers;
2) Insert funnel into the fill hole and fill with distilled water;
NOTE: WATER LEVEL SHOULD BE 1" BELOW THE TOP
3) Remove Teflon tape from fill cap threads and apply new piece;
4) Reinstall fill cap;
5) Turn on the power to the system.
USE THE RED‐HANDLED GATE VALVE(S)
TO CONTROL THE WATER FLOW
RUN THE FEATURE AT A HIGHER SPEED UNTIL FULL WATER
COVERAGE IS ACHIEVED THEN THRODDLE DOWN TO DESIRED SPEED
NOTE: EACH TIME THE FEATURE IS STARTED, IT COULD TAKE
UP TO 72 HOURS TO OBTAIN FULL WATER COVERAGE
RUN FEATURE 24 HOURS PER DAY TO FOR BEST RESULTS
