Sealing Plug
Unused cable entries or cable glands must be closed with a sealing plug to maintain the
degree of protection. When mounting the sealing plug, the cable entry must be provided with
all seals.
Mounting the Sealing Plug
1. Remove the cap nut (2) from the lower part of the cable entry (3).

2. Push the sealing plug (1) into the cable entry or cable gland as far as it will go.
3. Tighten the cap nut securely. Observe the tightening torques, see chapter 10.1, see chapter
10.2.
