The fail-safe I/O module can only be used in safety mode. It cannot be used in
standard operation.

Components of the Fail-Safe ET 200eco
Function
You connect the sensors to the fail-safe
I/O module and set the PROFIsafe
address on it.
You connect the power supply for the
fail-safe I/O module and PROFIBUS DP
to the terminal block. The following
variants of the terminal block are
available:
