3. INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT

The heater shall be be placed in a technical equipment area (ventilated, dry and without stored pool
maintenance substances), close to the filter of the pool. It shall be fixed to the wall horizontally or
vertically, by rings at the level of the body (not supplied), the apparatus must never be held by the
filtering pipes. The appliance shall preferably be installed at the bottom filtering point, in such a way as
it is always filled with water by retention.

4. CONNECTIONS

4.1 Hydraulic connections

The electric heater shall be connected in line to the return circuit downstream the filtration process, with
a minimum flow rate of 5m³/h up to 30m³/h. Plan for a by-pass fitting if the filter is above 30 m³/h or to
facilitate the maintenance of the appliance.
1/2 unions are designed to make a connection with the filtering circuit with a Ø50 or Ø63 PVC pipe.
Fitting essential: the connection of the heater shall be done in such a way as to be under load
compared to the filter or the pool, even when the pool water circulating pump is stopped.
The heater shall be installed before any water treatment system.
X = Y: minimum 15 to 20 cm
Minimum flow rate: 5 m³/h
Maximum flow rate: 30 m³/h
Note 1: advised fitting to retain water permanently in the
heater body.
Note 2: advised fitting to avoid aggressive chlorine feedback into the heater when the filtering is stopped
Direction of circulation: the direction of water circulation shall be accordingly to the arrow located on
the housing of the appliance.
Caution:
in event of vertical installation, direction of circulation shall be from the bottom to the top.
